Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Over15Daily collects, why, and your rights.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Over15Daily. Contact: hello@over15daily.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a securely scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We cannot see your password.
- Age confirmation: that you confirmed you are 18 or over.
- Subscription details: your subscription status and renewal date, and a customer reference from Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
- Emails you send us, if you contact us.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To provide your account and subscription: performance of a contract.
- To keep the site secure, prevent misuse and keep business records: legitimate interests and legal obligation (e.g. tax records).
- To check you are 18 or over: legitimate interests and to meet our responsibilities.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. It is strictly necessary for the service, so it does not require consent. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
- Railway: hosts the website and database (servers may be located outside the UK and EU).
- Stripe: processes subscription payments.
- Google (Gmail) and Namecheap: handle emails sent to our contact address.
Where data is transferred outside the UK or EU, we rely on our providers' standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 90 days of closing it, except payment records, which we keep for 6 years for tax purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive a copy of it. Email hello@over15daily.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
